Accommodation
Manresa is a middle sized city with quite a few hotel facilities (see the city map). Only two hotels and a youth hostel (students residence) are at walking distance from the conference place (also with some public bus available). There are several other hotel facilities arround, but all of them are outside the city, in nearby villages, and without (or very poor) public transportation; we do not recomend you to choose one of those unless you are planning to have (or rent) a car during the conference days. Another possibility is to stay in Barcelona downtown, where you can choose among a much longer list of possibilities. The problem there is that you will have to travel, twice everyday, the 60 km separating Barcelona and Manresa (in practice this means one hour by car or 1:20 hours by train, each way).

As said, Pere III is located at walking distance from the conference place (following a 15-20 minutes pleasant walk), with the possibility to take a urban bus too. Additionally, we have an agreement with this hotel to offer a special price for the conference participants. Make sure to mention "GAGTA participant" when doing your reservation.
